Cherry, Mango, and Pineapple Energizing Smoothie
The holidays are over and now is the time that we are all looking to get back to our healthy routines. Here at The Soap Market we're all about trying to get back to our healthy eating habits since we have been stuffing our faces with cookies and candy for the last month :) . We are also all about finding that extra boost of energy to get us through the rest of the day. One of our favorite ways to get back on track and get the nutrients we need is to drink a smoothie at least once a day. Today we made this smoothie and were quite fond of it (so were the kids)! We added Maca Powder to give us the extra energy we needed and also a little bit of vegan, vanilla protein powder. Adding Maca Powder to your smoothies will also add extra nutrients such as Vitamin B, C and E.  You will also get some added amino acids, calcium, and iron. Maca Powder is great! Dark cherries and pineapple is also another great way to get some more Vitamin C and during this time of year we could definitely use some! Try this recipe out and let us know what you think!!
1 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1 Banana
1 Cup Dark Cherries
1 Cup Pineapple
1/2 Cup Mango
1 Tablespoon Maca Powder
1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
(If your using fresh fruit, you might want to add a little bit of ice.)
