Good morning everyone!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I know I did. It was very relaxing and the 30 degree weather was beautiful! This morning I can't say the same. It is very cold again :( . When I was driving to work in my freezing cold car, wishing I was inside (preferably in a hot bathtub), I thought why not do a post on the benefits of our Mineral Bath Soak. We use a combination of Epsom salt, Dead Sea salt, Pink Himalayan salt, Coconut Milk powder, and baking soda.
Epsom Salt-This salt is great! Epsom salt relaxes the nervous system and the body. It will help sooth any body aches or any kind of muscle strain. It also clears toxins from the body.
Dead Sea Salt- This one does a lot! If your feeling stressed, soak in a tub of this. Dead sea salt relieves stress and anxiety. Like Epsom salts, it will help relax and sooth achy muscles. It also increases circulation in the body. This one is also great for the cold, winter weather when our skin dries out because it balances skins moisture and gives relief to dry skin.
Pink Himalayan Salt- The prettiest salt! This salt is another good one for the winter months. It helps clear sinuses and also improves skin texture.
Coconut Milk Powder- We can't get enough of the coconut milk! We use it in everrythinggg! It's so great! Using it in the bathtub will help with any joint inflammation you may have, and also adds extra moisture to the skin!
Baking Soda- And lastly, baking soda. This is another wonderful addition to the bath soak. Baking soda soothes dry skin, and also relieves itchiness.
